This is a project that I worked on in 2017 for the top grossing Home Improvement retailer.
The Problem
"As a Reliability Engineer, I need to be able to monitor the health of my app in an efficient and easy to comprehend process." The SLO Dashboard was created in order to provide one central location for the hundreds of apps across the company to monitor their performance metrics.
The Process
- User Interviews - What did users like/dislike about legacy system? What do they need to work more efficiently?
- Design Studio - Design input from product team. PM’s, Software Engineers, and UX
- Wireframes, Mockups and Prototyping*
- User Testing*
- Synthesis of Findings (Testing and Interviews)*
